The Birth of Our Steady Rest Line
Our journey into manufacturing manual steady rests began out of necessity. In 2004, after acquiring a CNC slant bed lathe from Associated Machine Tool Technologies (AmTTech), we discovered that a manual steady rest would take nine months to arrive. This delay led us to partner with AmTTech, ultimately designing custom steady rests for our own use and their customers.
This collaboration transformed into a major distribution network, with AmTTech becoming our largest distributor. Today, we supply six distinct styles of steady rests to machine tool manufacturers and dealers worldwide.
