Rest In Piece is a Full Wrap Heavy Duty MANUAL Steady Rest designed for todays extreme machining, tight tolerance work holding needs.
The photo shows a steady rest designed for a slant bed lathe, but can be designed to fit applications from flat bed CNC's to manual lathes as well as VMC's with 4th axis tables.
The design allows for a wide range of sizes, tool support, and rigidity needed to produce excellent finishes on Daewoo, Mori Seiki, and variety of other machine shop equipment.
